We supported Equinox from the embryonic stages of the project, customising the application and integration of our solutions to meet the project’s specific requirements. We took care of all technical production needs, from specification and installation of products to onsite technical project management and specialist show crew.
Establishing the visibility of Parker’s brand at the airshow was a 18x2.5M LED wall covering the front of the chalet. The 3.9mm outdoor LED screen played brand animations and aerospace footage, attracting attention along the busy concourse. A smaller 1x2.5M LED screen next to the entrance played welcome messages and additional branding.
LED screens on the walls and ceiling of the reception and lobby area played brand animations and promotional content. Eight LED cubes protruded from the walls and were used to display Parker’s products. Every three minutes, an animated feature took over all screens, when an electrical pulse, followed by a fighter jet travelled across the room.
Displaying two-dimensional content on three-dimensional surfaces was a complex process. With LED screens being a main feature of the chalet, the relationship between video content and playback technology was key. We advised the content creators of the exact specification of each screen—enabling us to map the content across three 4K canvases.
With space inside the chalet at a premium and the LED screens serving as an architectural feature as much as a video playback surface—we created a bespoke mounting system which secured our LED tiles directly to Equinox’s stand, without the need for intrusive rigging or ground stack systems which would take up additional space.
The glitz and glamour of communal areas got people talking about Parker’s products and services, but the real business took place in nine meeting rooms around the chalet. We furnished each room with secure wifi, a speaker system, display screen and wireless connectivity software, enabling the discussions to flow without interruption.
